One of the most distinguishing features of our Pelican Pointe community are the engaging, not-so-run-of-the-mill activities that we offer to all residents. And this is especially true when it comes to our signature Fulfill A Wish program, which encourages independence and personal growth through new experiences.
When it comes to granting wishes, no request is too big or too small. From golf tournaments out on the course, Ragin’ Cajuns’ games and skeet shooting, to four-wheel riding, horseback riding, and even helicopter and airplane tours, our residents get to experience it all.
And since we’re located in Sportsman’s Paradise, it’s no surprise that fishing excursions often make the cut. Whether it’s deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for red fish, or fishing in local ponds for crabs and crawfish, it’s sure to be an adventure to remember. Sometimes there’s no greater therapy than the sound of the water and a reel … that is until the fresh catch of the day is brought home to be cooked for dinner.
By fulfilling wishes, we’re creating unique experiences that our residents can share with family and friends during visits, and vivid memories to uplift spirits.
